Streets Level (1) includes adjustments, residential right/left turns, boulevard right/left turns, intersections Streets Level (2) includes lane changes, proper checking and intersection preparation, protected and unprotected right and left turns in traffic situations, 1 - 4 way stops and right of way Streets Review includes any or all of street beginning and advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate.

HIGHWAYS: *

Highways Level (1) includes flow of traffic, lane changes, lane placement, space cushions Highways Level (2) includes understanding the flow of traffic and how to control your space cushion, purpose of each mirror and blind spot checking, road markings and signage Highways Review includes any or all of highway beginning and advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate.

PARKING/SKILLS: *

Parking/Skills Level (1) includes curb parking, uphill parking, downhill parking, low gears, friction point mastery, residential U-turns and 3 point turns. Parking/Skills Level (2) parking lot driving, diagonal parking right and left, perpendicular parking right and left, parallel parking and 2 point turns. Parking/Skills Review includes any or all of parking/skills beginning and advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful locations and self navigate.

PRE-DRIVE OPTIONS: *

Driver Education Online (purchase separately) includes the State of California required 25 hour course for teens. A Certificate of Completion will be sent out to you when finished. Pre-Drive Clinic includes the opportunity to meet with the driving teacher and prepare for driving, getting oriented to the driver training vehicle and rules of the road or going for a spin around the block (if permitted) Study Session includes a tutoring session to understand and memorize the materials required for passing the DMV written test. Student License includes the application, eye test, hearing test and DMV student license test in order to drive solely with your Good CARma Driving School instructor.

FINE TUNING THE BASICS: *

General Review Highway Review includes any or all of street driving, highway and parking beginning and advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate. Grading / Test Prep Level (1) includes introduction to the following tasks: Using roads similar (but not identical) to DMV test routes, stepping up skills required for the DMV's behind-the-wheel exam, understanding the pre-test and what is expected on the btw exam, conditioning the mindset to help prevent being overwhelmed by nerves, tips for preparing on the day of and for passing Grading/ Test Prep Level (2) includes preparing for the DMV's behind-the-wheel exam by going over the pre-test requirements and being graded as the DMV examiner would (i.e. "That was a fail because you rolled through the stop sign." or "One point because you didn't signal when you pulled away from the curb." You will have a chance to question, understand and correct your errors throughout the session.

DMV tests: *

Written Learner's Permit Test (Does NOT guarantee passing) includes reviewing materials included in the exam, going to the local DMV to take the exam for the learner's permit and returning home. Total time spend varies greatly but averages several hours. You are responsible for scheduling your appointment and bringing the proper documentation for your test. Behind-the-Wheel Driver License Test (ONLY available to approved students and does NOT guarantee passing) includes support, pointers, tips, guidance, extra practice. Warm up by driving from home to the DMV while reviewing test elements. Total time spent varies greatly, but averages several hours. You are responsible for scheduling your appointment and bringing the proper documentation for your test.
