CANYONS:
TRAFFIC/BLVD PARKING/SKILLS:
FREEWAYS:
- Canyons 1: includes introduction to varying types of canyons and passes
- Canyons 2: includes perfecting the following tasks: Varying types of canyons and passes, curvy / hilly / narrow roads, turnouts, off road parking, allowing others to safely pass, night
- Canyons Review: includes any or all of Canyons 1 and 2 in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate.
TRAFFIC/BLVD PARKING/SKILLS:
- Traffic/Blvd Parking/Skills 1: includes busy boulevards to seek out, communicate your intentions to traffic and orchestrate pulling to and from the curb, reversing along the curb and U-turns
- Traffic/Blvd Parking/Skills 2: includes your favorite busy boulevards to seek out, communicate your intentions to traffic and orchestrate parallel parking
- Traffic/Blvd Parking/Skills 3: includes your favorite busy boulevards to seek out, communicate your intentions to traffic and orchestrate using the shared left turn center lane to enter and exit driveways, turning left and right into and out of driveways without a designated lights or designated lane, night (if possible)
- Traffic/Blvd Parking/Skills Review: includes any or all of boulevard parking/skills from beginning through advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate.
FREEWAYS:
- Freeways 1: includes lane changes, maintaining clear sides, on and off ramps, light / medium / heavy traffic, night (if possible)
- Freeways 2: includes on and off ramps, medium / heavy traffic (hand signals when necessary), sunset (if possible)
- Freeways 3: includes independently directing oneself to the freeway (and from) using signage and road markings, double / double turns, light / medium / gridlock traffic
- Freeways 4: includes independently directing oneself through interchanges using signage and road markings, light / medium / heavy traffic
- Freeways Review: includes any or all of freeways from beginning through advanced in order to better understand and build confidence. May choose useful destinations and self navigate.

Replace or reduce parent involvement as shown on PROVISIONAL PERMIT (PAGE 2) PARENT/DRIVING INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION OF ADDITIONAL TRAINING (50 HOURS). DMV requires parent and/or driving instructor to complete and certify Advance Level Training. (Time frame is 50 parent hours or driving instructor's discretion)
